    Full Report

The existing site of the Ocean View Branch of the San Francisco Public Library is too small to accomodate the required program. The 2019 feasility report evaluated nine sites in the OMI neighborhood to host a new, expanded library featuring flexible community spaces, dedicated children and teen areas, and connection to the Brotherhood Way Open Space Plan.

There are seven possible sites in the green space along Brotherhood Way in San Francisco. Site D was selected as the location for the future library based on neighborhood connectivity, pedestrian access, and existing infrastructure.

The proposed site was accepted by the community and the board of supervisors, and the project is in pre-design.
